You willfind the accommodation is very close to Vatican City and within walking distanceof many other main sites. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in thelocal area. Guests using public transport find it really convenient too, withbus stops just down the road and the metro only a five-minute walk away.

Guests thought that it was a bonus that the accommodation, although not a hotel where they would have expected a daily maid service, still did receive a housekeeping visit on a daily basis. They say they do a good job and things are kept nice and clean during their stay.

Unusually for an older property in Rome, there is a lift in this old building that will take you to the higher floors. This is a big help if you have any mobility issues.

Staff are not always on-site so you will need to arrange your arrival with them in advance or telephone them on arrival. Some guests found staff came very quickly but others had to wait outside for a while, which was frustrating.

Some guests found that the stand alone air-conditioning units did not work sufficiently well to completely cool the rooms as much as they would have liked to feel comfortable. Air-con may also be a little noisy.

The proprietors have other properties in the area, so some guests were given accommodation at these other addresses. While it was no issue for some, other guests were disappointed, for example if they had booked this hotel based upon distance from the metro, only to be placed somewhere else.
